Bougainvillea House is a private, beachfront, air conditioned, villa; located on Great Exuma Island, in the Bahamas, 200 miles south of Miami, Florida. It is a secluded, exclusive, deluxe, waterfront home that is used as a weekly rental property for families, weddings, corporate retreats, and commercial photo shoots. It is also used for day or evening corporate functions for the Four Seasons Resort groups as small as 18 or as large as 300. Function catering is normally provided by The Four Seasons Resort, which is ten minutes away. Entertainment, décor, transportation, and destination management is available from various destination management companies (DMC’s).

Bougainvillea House Villa consists of two separate beachfront homes that can be combined together for larger family groups. There is also a separate garden cottage, which is available for additional capacity. Tommy Bahama furniture and linens are featured throughout. The North Villa has four bedrooms and one suite, four and one half baths, an entertainment room, living room, dining room, and kitchen; with a total of 2200 square feet of living space, which can accommodate up to 10 adults. The South Villa has one Master Honeymoon suite and one suite, two and one half baths, living room, dining room, and kitchen; with 1800 square feet of living space, which accommodates up to 4 adults. The Garden Cottage has one bedroom, one suite, and a kitchen and can accommodate 4 adults. The entire property features 6 bedrooms with private baths, as well as 3 suites with shared baths for a total capacity of 18 adults. Additional beachfront rental homes are available within walking distance to the North and South of the Villa, if additional capacity is required.

The outside decks offer an additional 8000 square feet of outdoor living space; which includes an 1800 square foot rooftop “Sky Deck”. The Villa was opened in December of 2003 with a six month contract to provide deluxe accommodation for members of Exclusive Resorts Corporation, based in Denver, Colorado. Functions, events, and weddings have been held on a weekly basis, ever since. The house features a 2000 square foot main deck with seating capacity for 180 guests, outdoor stairways to the mid and upper decks, and two stairways to the beach. There is also a catering area and a stage. In 2004, the property was commercially landscaped to a resort standard, a stone entrance court was added, and the property was repainted.

Food & Beverage
We provide an initial premium grocery order for 8-10 adults to include three meals a day for seven days. Lobster, filet mignon, and fresh seafood are featured. We also include a complete premium bar consisting of a selection of 32 bottles of red and white wine, as well as scotch, rum, gin, vodka, whiskey, tequila, beer, and mix. Additional groceries, liquor, and mix are available at one of two grocery stores on the island within 10 minutes of the Villa and are the responsibility of the guest.

Snorkeling, fishing, and spear fishing equipment are provided; as well as a barbecue, 5 kayaks, 2 windsurfers, golf clubs, tennis racquets, volleyball, croquet, and bocce ball. The Villa features wireless internet, XM radio, a Meade telescope, iPod connections, Sony Blu-Ray TV, Sony Blu-Ray DVD player, Blu-Ray DVD collection; and all DirecTV satellite feeds.

Daily housekeeping and daily concierge services are provided. A basic cook is available for an additional $100 per day, and a chef is available for $500 a night depending on the dinner requirements and staff availability.

Transportation
We provide a car and driver for the week, who will be available to take you anywhere on the island that you would like to go. If you prefer to rent your own vehicle, we will credit your account for $500.

Daily Concierge
You will be met at the airport upon your arrival. Your hosts have ten years of experience at this destination and will be available on a daily basis to ensure that your vacation experience meets or exceeds your expectations

Weekly rental
$21,000 per week - five bedrooms plus two foldout couches. Sleeps 10-14.
$28,000 per week - six bedrooms plus three foldout couches. Sleeps 12-18.
$17,500 per week - four bedrooms plus one foldout couch. Sleeps 8-10.

Rental includes airport meet and greet, initial grocery and liquor order for 8-10 adults, car and driver for the week, daily housekeeping, bathroom amenities, airport meet and greet, transfers, gratuities, arrival amenities basket, espresso machine, mix, bottled water, long distance telephone (to $100), snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, fishing equipment, spear fishing equipment, kayaks, windsurfers, outdoor spa, golf clubs, tennis racquets, satellite TV, DVD collection and player, wireless internet, XM radio, CD player, telescope, and daily concierge services. (note: cooks and chefs are available upon request for additional fees.)

Payment in full is due at time of booking, via wire transfer, in US funds.
Credit cards are accepted with a service charge fee added of 4%.

refund and cancellation policy:
A full refund is allowed with a cancellation prior to 180 days of the reservation. A 50% refund is allowed with a cancellation prior to 90 days of the reservation. No refund is allowed with a cancellation less than 90 days from the reservation. In all cases, if we are successful in rebooking a canceled reservation; all funds will be refunded.
