Located on tiny Mail Bay (rarely identified on maps of St. Thomas) on St. Thomas’ exclusive North Shore on three acres of land, our private beach is only accessible by land from our property, so our guests, whether honeymooners or families, are content on our exclusive sandy haven.

Inside & Outside
Our Greatest Advantage is Our Private Secluded Beach
The Beach House villa’s location offers access from your front yard to our private beach and one of the most beautiful St Thomas snorkeling reefs. Rocks and reef surround each side of the beach ensuring your privacy, while also presenting a great “rock scramble” hike if you enjoy adventurous exercise.
You will find beautiful healthy coral and a large varied fish and crustacean population. Enjoy the incredible snorkeling and diving, especially in the summer months. The 30 – 40’ deep reef is a nice little shore dive and the sandy entrance allows you ease of access to put on your fins or your tanks and just walk right in.
Moreover, above the water, the summer seas are perfect for kayaking (there are two in the Boat House) and other water activities. The winter months offer more of Mother Nature's wonders. The large rolling seas are spectacular to watch and the sound will lull you to sleep.
If the seas are larger than you would like to play in on any given day, relax and read on the beach, take a dip in the hot tub or bask in the sun's warm rays from the deck. However, given the capricious nature of our mother ocean, it can be waves one day and flat calm and clear the next.
More About The Beach House Villa
The Beach House accommodates up to eight guests, with four bedrooms, three full baths, and one-half bath. The full bath in the Main House has an inside shower, and the other full baths have wonderful, fun, outside showers.
The Main House boasts a fully appointed kitchen, dining, and living areas, the master suite, and a downstairs apartment/bedroom. The detached two- story Cottage includes two bedrooms that share a full bath with an attached outside shower.
Enjoy the multi-level decks, all facing the ocean. The large main deck has lounge chairs, chaise lounges, and an outside dining area. Here also is a well-appointed, more formal outdoor covered dining area that comfortably seats eight people. This is the area most guests will most often find themselves sharing meals as well as their island exploits.
The more hidden lower deck with a hot tub is sheltered by island palms and offers views to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. There is an outside shower near the hot tub as well.
The recently remodeled kitchen has new stainless appliances and offers a bar/seating area, and a small dining table for informal meals.
The living room is decorated in an appealing, upscale island flair, with flat screen cable TV, CD/DVD (which is iPod accessible) as well as wireless satellite Internet.
The master bedroom suite includes a beautiful four- poster king sized bed and a half bath with a private outdoor shower. The Main House also has a cozy reading/changing room with a full bath and inside shower.
All bedrooms have an open panorama to the outdoors and ocean. Open the windows and doors and let the warm breezes flow through; or for your added desired comfort, air-conditioning is available in each bedroom.
The Cottage
The detached Cottage is just steps away and includes two bedrooms (one with king sized bed and one with queen sized bed), which share a full bathroom with a private outdoor shower. In the King bedroom there is a flat screen TV and DVD/CD player. There is also an additional bedroom downstairs with a queen size bed, perfect for an au pair or for the teen that requires their ultimate “space”.
The Boat House
Inside are two one-person kayaks and paddles, floaties, beach chairs and loungers as well as a shower and nighttime lighting.

Catering
If you plan to truly enjoy the serenity of The Beach House, grocery shopping will be in order. There are numerous places to shop on St. Thomas including the larger places such as Cost U Less (similar to Costco) and Kmart. There are also several gourmet shops that cater to needs that are more esoteric.
Or, save your precious vacation time and have one of the many professional provisioning companies fulfill your shopping needs. There are private catering companies and private chefs are available for special occasions or events at The Beach House – or for no special reasons at all! Catering and provisioning recommendations available upon request.
Car Rentals
Renting a car is almost a must at The Beach House and highly recommended, since taxis can be unreliable as well as expensive. We can recommend smaller, local car agencies that will be most willing to offer a good car at a competitive price.
Weddings, Parties & Large Gatherings*
As The Beach House can accommodate up to 75 people, it is the perfect place for a wedding reception, family reunion party, or large gathering of friends. Whether you want to have a romantic wedding on the beach or celebrate a birthday with all your family and friends, The Beach House has every amenity to make your event fun and memorable.

Policies
All tables, flatware, china, dishes and glassware for the event must be rented or provided by your caterer.
We must have details of all plans well in advance of the event, including wedding personnel and/or catering persons who will be at the villa for your function.
Guests will be held completely responsible for any damages, missing items, and will be charged if their caterer/chef does not complete a full clean-up of the property inside and outside, including removing all trash from the villa property.
Island Activities
If your dream Caribbean vacation is to blend into the serene atmosphere the villa and St. Thomas have everything so relax, exhale and enjoy The Beach House’s ultimate tranquility.
We can recommend private caterers and concierge services to provision, cater or create en-villa private dining experiences for you and your other houseguests, or just go shopping for you.
There are numerous video rental stores (including Blockbuster) around St. Thomas; and we have a few board games and decks of cards around the house. Bring your favorite music or just listen to the sounds of the Caribbean. It is your vacation. We want it to be a memorable experience for you.
On the other hand, if you want to experience an “active” Caribbean vacation, then the US Virgin Islands is an exciting vacation at any age, especially on St. Thomas!
St. Thomas has a plethora of activities, tours and incredible shopping, not all that can be experienced in just one week. Plus, remember that we are under the US Flag, so grocery stores and pharmacies are stocked with the familiar stateside items, as well as real bargains on certain items.
Duty Free Shopping on St. Thomas
All shopping on the island is duty free. Jewelry, perfume, watches, electronics, alcohol and tobacco are all offered at extremely low prices compared to the prices in the States. Please contact us to learn more about the island's shopping.
St. Thomas Sport Fishing, Golf Courses & Other Sport Activities
Sports fishing, golf, and tennis are available if you are more into recreation. The world famous Mahogany Run golf course is only a 20 minute drive from T/he Beach House/. There are countless sport fishing boat rentals, and tennis courts to enjoy as well. We even have a local charter fisherman who will pick you up in front of the house with bait well full of live bait and fishing poles rigged!
St. Thomas Watersports Activities
There are other beaches on the island are also beautiful but not so private. Magens Bay is only a 20-minute drive from the property.
Some other fun activities that the island offers are jet-ski rentals, parasailing, kayak tours, windsurfing lessons, sailboat day sails and/or powerboat rentals.
No Passports Required for the US Virgin Islands
You do not need a passport for the US Virgin Islands, but you should bring a valid photo ID (such as a driver’s license) for proper ID when using credit cards or car rental.
British Virgin Islands Day Trips
The British Virgin Islands are also only a stones throw away; taking a ferry or even renting a boat is a trip you will not forget. (If you plan on going to the British Virgin Islands, every one must have a valid passport. Even though they are very close, they are a different country).
Our Sister Island, St. John
A trip to the Virgin Islands would not be complete without a day trip to our sister island of St. John. The Beach House is a 30-minute to drive to the Red Hook Ferry dock; from there, St. John is a 20-minute ferry ride. The ferries to/from St. Thomas and St. John leave every hour on the hour between 7 am and 11 pm. There is great dining and shopping on this sleepy little island, along with some of the world's most beautiful beaches. Trunk Bay was named third most beautiful beach countless years in a row. St. John is definitely not an island you want to miss.
St. Thomas Dining & Restaurants
The dining on St. Thomas is as varied as the island itself. Many local restaurants offer a variety of local foods with a Caribbean flare. Or choose a private, upscale romantic dinner of haute cuisine or fun casual dining with live music - St. Thomas has ever flavor, style, and dining experience. Many restaurant/bars offer happy hours daily with drink specials that are unbeatable! Take a ride on the Paradise Point tramway to watch the sunset and drink their famous Bushwackers.
