Courtside 53 is a two-story townhouse, one flight above street level. This unit offers Wi-Fi along with 3 Flat Screen TV's (each with their own DVD player). Both Full Baths were updated in 2014. Courtside is 1.5 blocks from the beach and next door to Van Der Meer Tennis Center. A special membership with Van der Meer provides Courtside guests with tennis privileges up to one hour per day per condo. This community has two on-site pools, a lagoon with fountain, and parking at the front door of each property. Courtside is within 3 blocks of Coligny Plaza, the Beach Market and Park. This quaint downtown area offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. King bed in master bedroom, two twins in bedroom 2, living room sleep sofa, two full-sized baths plus powder room.

This condo is in a great location for the beach. The pool and grounds are well kept up. This condo was a good size for the 5 of us. Some of the furniture and kitchenware could use some updating. Also, there are a lot of stairs to get into the unit and more stairs for the bedrooms."

"Courtside 53 Vacation Success
Have been going to Hilton head for 30 years and stayed in most of these townhome rentals on South Forest Beach. This year I took my daughter son-in-law and two granddaughters ages 11 and 12 to see my go to happy place. The unit is getting pretty old and the furniture should be replaced in the living room, the sofa bed was really bad. The location was perfect, the pool was perfect the walk to the beach was short and overall we had a great time. "

I had a wonderful stay at 53 Courtside. The property was just as described. It was very comfortable, clean, well maintained, and quiet. Two very minor maintenance issues were dealt with immediately by the property manager. The amenities and location are fantastic. It's a quick and easy walk to the beach, the park, and restaurants."

We really enjoyed our stay at this nice condo. It is close to the beach with nearby shopping and eating options. Walking or biking trails all around the neighborhood and most of the island. The pool and tennis fields are a great plus. "

"Nice Condo living and walk to the beach
My family of four really enjoyed our stay on HHI. The condo was nice and roomy. The condo was nice - a little dated but nice. It could stand to have a deep clean but overall, was clean enough. I loved the location of it to the pool - you could sit on the little deck and enjoy but was far enough away that you didn't hear the noise and late night swimmers. Walk to the beach wasn't that far. Nice walking location to food, shopping and groceries. Would definitely recommend. "

The island is very beautiful, haunting looking, with a certain mystique about it...I explored every accomodations were fantastic...very roomy, clean, and centrally located...Everything i could possibly need was in the condo...the property description was spot on...When i return to Hilton Head, i certainly will try to get this same unit again"

Great location for walking and riding bikes. The condo was spacious and fine for the price paid. We did have to remove the king comforter due to desperate need of cleaning. The staff at Seashore immediately gave us a new blanket. We will probably look for a newer or remodeled unit next time."

"First Vacation to Hilton Head Island
The condo was adequate, I was surprised at finding it dirty in some areas and upon walking in it just didn’t “ feel” clean. Examples were in the 2nd bedroom there was ALOT if dust on the head board bed frame! It was very noticeable, also there was think dust on the air return grate downstairs off the 1/2 bathroom. I scraped it with my finger! Some came off so it wasn’t like it couldn’t have been cleaned. None of the bathrooms seemed cleaned very well and the chairs in the living room were still damp from I’m assuming someone sitting there in a wet bathing suit?! We enjoyed our time Hilton Head but if we ever visit again we will find another place to stay. I expected the condo to be cleaner since there is a cleaning fee for each renter for this. Also the sliding door did not lock. The only security was to put the wood in the track. Seems like a small thing to get working. On a positive note, the staff at seaside were very nice and super helpful when we had questions. "

Spacious, clean and in a great location- what more do you need? Although it wasn't warm enough to swim in the pool, it was nice to have a deck that looks over the pool area. Beds were pretty comfortable. Nice having 2.5 bathrooms. Kitchen is well equipped."

This is the 3rd time we have rented this particular unit-it is always in nice shape and very clean-our only complaint is that it is time to update the bathrooms-this is the 10th year in a row that we have stayed in the Courtside complex- there are 2 nice pools and the closeness to the beach,shopping and restaurants is great- we will continue to stay at Courtside and we will have no second thoughts about renting this same unit again"

"Maintenance Issues
The main problem we had was the leaking in the master bedroom shower that came through the ceiling. Also, the sink in the kitchen leaked water onto the floor as well. There were no sheets for the roll away bed and pull out bed. When sheets were brought over and left in the condo, the plumber used them to mop up all the water that leaked from the master bedroom"

"Van Der Meer Clinic
We went to Hilton Head to take my son and some of his friends to a weekend tennis clinic at Van Der Meer. The location was perfect for us because we could, for the most part, walk were ever we wanted to go (i.e. beach, Van Der Meer, restaraunts, etc). The furniture was typical rental property furniture and the TV sets were dated. However, it worked for our purposes. "
