This upscale well-decorated comfortable Victorian style home is located on Balboa Island. Balboa Island is one of seven islands in Newport Harbor. You can drive over the bridge or take the charming 3 car auto-ferry to access Balboa Island. Walk out the front door of this home and you are four houses from Newport Bay and it's beaches. Take the auto-ferry (on foot) and with a five minute walk you are at the Pacific Ocean. Walk around the boardwalk that encircles Balboa Island stopping for a coffee on the quaint main street.

Balboa Island has beaches, shops, restaurants, fishing, and a boardwalk that encircles the Island for pleasure walks. A small ferry can be found just a block from the house. This pedestrian and 3-car ferry ride takes you two minutes across the bay to the Pacific Ocean. This location permits ocean fishing from the pier as well deep-sea fishing boats, rentals for small sailboats and surfing. Tennis and golf are easy to find in Newport Beach.

Balboa Island is located well for easy day trips to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Los Angeles, Hollywood, Marine Land, Legoland and the San Diego Zoo. Local shopping includes Newport Center/ Fashion Island, South Coast Plaza, Crystal Court and many many restaurants.

• The master bath which is pictured has two sinks and is part of the master suite. The second bath is next two the other two bedrooms. There is a third bath downstairs that is next to a shared laundry room. This is accessed from the downstairs Den and is great when returning from the beach.

• There is one master bedroom with an attached bath. The other two bedrooms share a bath. There is an additional bath and shower downstairs that can be accessed from the den and through the laundry room. (This is great for when you return from the sandy beach as you can also access this third bathroom, which includes shower, from the outside.) Linens (bed sheets and towels, for inside) are provided free of charge. We always have pillows, blankets and spreads.

Newport Beach is an upscale community with a relaxed feel, located in Orange County California. Newport Beach is south of Huntington Beach (AKA “Surf City”), and north of the art colony of Laguna Beach. Inside Newport Beach is the jewel of Newport− Newport Harbor. And inside that beautiful Harbor, are seven tiny islands. Balboa Island is one of those small Islands. Balboa Island, which is just across a small bridge from the mainland and Coast Highway (Highway 1); or just a short three- car ferry ride from the Balboa Peninsula.

Now that you get the layout of the land there are many, many Activities
Golf and tennis clubs abound in Newport Beach. Upscale movie theaters that will bring your food to your lounge chair, shops and more shops in Fashion Island, Crystal Court, Newport Center, and restaurants of every possible type are all just a few miles from Balboa Island. Grand destinations such as Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, LEGOLAND are a great afternoon fun, and Catalina Island is just a 26-mile ferry ride across the sea. You are only seven miles to Orange County Airport (also known as John Wayne Airport) cause the Duke like many other celebrities has called Newport home. Take the narrated Harbor Cruise and get the dirt on all that has happened in the Harbor.
Newport Bay is populated with grand yachts, fishing boats, small pleasure crafts, Sabot sail boats, paddle boards, rowers, and great people enjoying the sun and surf.

The house has a lovely patio with comfy furniture to sit and relax as you cook on the BBQ, or in the well-appointed kitchen.

Everything you need except food and beach towels can be found in this vacation home. There is a lovely front patio comfortably furnished with a propane grill and a pass window from the kitchen. You may park on the street or in the garage. We have a garage door opener for you. If you have babies we do have a highchair and pack-and-play. The house and kitchen is completely furnished. All you need are your toys and food. We provide linens and Wi-Fi, cable TV.
