"Beautiful unit on a central location
Great unit, well equipped with everything needed for the week, beautiful ocean view and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Everything worked well, beds were comfortable, bathrooms a little in the small side but we made it work. I’m kind of a clean freak so I feel like rentals are never clean enough for me but in general it was okay. Bathrooms and surfaces were clean. The building staff was super friendly and the grounds were well maintained. The pool ended up closing the last two days for repairs which was a bummer but they were working hard to get it fixed. Overall, I will stay on this unit again. "

"Weekend getaway w/ my kids
My vacation rental experience was phenomenal. As soon as we walked into the unit we were speechless on how breathe taking the unit and the view of the beach/ocean was. The kitchen had everything we needed to make great meals for the days we were there, the unit was very clean, and the atmosphere was inviting. I'm already planning another trip and seashore vacation will most definitely have my business again."

"September 2022 Vacation
Check in and check out process was confusing and cumbersome. They made you visit a secondary site to check in and receive a packet of promotional literature. There were no written instructions for check out which is very odd. The location was great and the facility was very nice. For the price I would expect better cleaning as it didn’t seem to have been swept or mopped and the comforters were covered in sand. The place could also use a good deep cleaning - baseboards and light switches were pretty nasty when we arrived. "

"Disapppointed
Check-in was a breeze. The condo was well equipped. However, We were disappointed by several things. There was a dampness and a mildew smell throughout the condo and especially on the sofa and chairs. We placed towels on the sofa so that the smell would not transfer to our clothes. Leaky AC vents."

"Great Weekend Getaway
The place couldn't have been in a better location, right on the beach with a perfect balcony to enjoy the sunrise and listen to the crashing waves throughout the day. The short walk to the private entry onto the beach was easy and comfortable, and the access to locations around the property, Coligny Park, Sea Pines and others is an easy walk, bike ride, or drive. "

"Nice view but...
This property is as described, nice view, great location. My biggest disappoint was the linens and pillows. Not one of the pillows are worth using. There are way past there prime. Flat and hard as a board. The linens are even worse! After the first night, I emailed the rental office and explained that the sheets were “worn have balls on them and having trouble sleeping”. They were gracious to offer to replace the sheets. Unfortunately they weren’t any better. We ended up sleeping on the top sheet and found a light blanket to use as a top sheet. It was a long week of very little rest. For this reason I would not rebook. At the price of this unit, this is unacceptable. If you rent this unit, I suggest you bring your own sheets"

"A few problems!
We loved the spot but unfortunately the unit had a few problems, the clothes dryer being the most!! The dryer was loud and the last few days did not work at all, the drain in the main bathroom shower was clog when we arrived and we called to get it fixed it was fixed but the gentleman left a mess that we had to clean up after him!"

"A wonderful place to stay!
We have stayed at many different locations in Hilton Head over the years and this unit certainly did not disappoint. We had 4 adults and 2 small children and had more than enough room in this unit. Right when you enter you can tell that it is very spacious and laid out beautifully. This is very well kept and has gorgeous view of the ocean. You are a mere 1-2 minute walk to Coligny which is very convenient. I would certainly recommend this unit and may end up staying again in the future.

"Beautiful!
Beautiful newly renovated condo Everything was perfect, could sit on the patio and listen to live music from the hotel next door. Couldn’t have been happier. Traveled with elderly mother, has elevator and nice luggage carts to help get everything into the room. This is a must if looking for a family condo. Great kitchen, where we cooked Thanksgiving lunch. Will be back again for sure. "

"Our Hilton Head vacation that almost ended before it began
We arrived on Hilton Head to our scheduled “5 StarVilla”only to find the most disgusting place ever. We called and told them we couldn’t stay there because of the numerous issues, not at all what the description depicted. We left and stayed in a Hampton for the night (Labor Day weekend). We looked the next morning and found a lovely lady named Lynn who arranged for us to move into a beautiful Villa at Ocean 1 on Coligney Beach. This villa was not only beautiful, but Clean!! The accommodations were perfect!! The location was on the ocean side with a beautiful view The price was exactly what we had paid for the 1st place. We would highly recommend Seashore Vacations ��"

"Great vacation at Ocean One 521
We had a bumpy start to our vacation this year being in an accident on I-95 about an hour before we would get to HHI. Fortunately, everyone was OK and cars can be fixed. We still had a wonderful family vacation at Ocean One! Seashore Vacations is always wonderful and easy to work with. We love unit 521. It is clear the owners take pride in their vacation home. It has been 2 years since we were here, but all of the new remodeling was beautiful. Love the new kitchen. 521 is clean, bright and spacious. The view is always beautiful. We will most definitely be back again! Thank you Seashore and 521 owners for another wonderful family vacation!!"

The property description is very accurate. The view from the balcony is exactly what the pictures show. Enjoyed our coffee each morning on the balcony overlooking the beach. We were very, very happy with the layout of the condo. Especially liked that each bedroom had their own bathroom. The kitchen looks like it was just recently remodeled, nicely done! (Loved the granite counter tops) The condo was very clean and property is well maintained. Would definitely rent this condo again!!"

"Love Ocean One
Great location. We have been staying at Ocean One for over 20 years. We've stayed in much more updated units.
This unit was a great Ocean front, but definitely needs a kitchen update. It was older and not well equipped. Also the second bedroom was very dark and needed updating.
Still a great week and we love working with Sea Shore Vacations."

Our family loves Ocean One. We love working with Seashore Vacations. We have been coming to Ocean One for over 15 years. We have originally always stayed in condo 521. We have not in a few years. It is clean & accomodates our family. I just wish they would update alittle. Kitchen is older. Still uses keys for room when a keyless entry could be installed. And it costs the sam was some of the newer updated condos.
It also seems that the pool closes atleast a day or more every time we are here for whatever reason. In 2017, you would think the pool would have a stronger pump system to deal with pool issues in a timely manner. "

we have stayed at Ocean One since our adult children were school age, however this year some things had changed. cleaning service was not up to par. no pillowcases on king bed. pest control engineer wanted to spray on April 13th no dishwashing soap or sponge provided.also,when returning home ALL of our clothes smelled of smoke,we don't smoke,possibly previous renters??Not parking ticket issued until 8 days after arrival.Always worried about parking space."

The condo had everything one would was well described by the manager.The view is wonderful of the ocean.Even after the hurricane Ocean One's grounds were manicured to perfection.Our group went there for tennis, shopping and eating. "It could have been better.
The unit lacks many of the amenities that one normally finds in comparable ocean front accommodations. The seating in the TV room needs a total makeover, the cleanliness on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best does not receive a passing score. Cabinetry in the kitchen is below par, the drains in the bath, kitchen abr br sink required cleaning during our stay. Fortunately, we were able to clean the drains in the kitchen and bath but the shower in the main bath was clogged and I could not repair this for the owner. "

"Great view/needs updates
Positives: Amazing view, peaceful escape, quick walk to the beach, gated for privacy, courteous staff.
Not-so-positives: Villa definitely needs updating (particularly apparent because we had friends staying in another villa down the hall on the 4th floor and their villa was gorgeous and modern). The kitchen really needs some work along with some fresh paint throughout the unit. Keyless entry, in lieu of keys, would be a plus.
Also, curious to know if anyone else has experienced seeing/hearing "unusual activity" in the villa. Our laptop turned on by itself in the middle of the night and started playing a video, an adult heard My Little Pony being sung in the kitchen when no one else was around, another adult saw a child's figure in a bedroom, separate adult reported seeing a child's figure in the villa. Is this place haunted? It was a little spooky."

The view was definitely the most positive thing about this unit. The updates that have been done are positive (especially in the master bath) but the kitchen needs major improvement. This unit might be acceptable if you eat out most meals, but was not adequate for our family. We like the location of Ocean One and the outside property, but would not stay here unless the updating was complete. "

"Our Vacation
The only negative thing I can say about the rental unit is its proximity to the Holiday Inn resort. They used to have live music ONLY on weekends, BUT this year, it was every day. You couldn't leave your windows open or even sit at the pool without hearing their music. We really like the unit in the building - it is perfect for us but next year, we will look for a comparable unit in another building."

Love the property, love the location, did not like the room. Needs major updating, keyless entry would be nice, a clean patio would be nice, an organized kitchen instead of mess in all the cabinets and drawers would be nice. "Wonderful Property with Great Amenities and a Friendly Staff
This was the first time I stayed at Ocean One, and I am very pleased with my experience. The site was clean, safe, and very convenient to shopping and restaurants. You know you are at a great facility when the outdoor community-pool restrooms are spotless!! The staff at Seashore Vacations were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I will book my future visits through Seashore Vacations and will stay at Ocean One again and again."

Perfect spot, right on the ocean. Great view from the unit decks. Nice pool. Unit is furnished with lots of extras that make the stay enjoyable - beach chairs, movies, sand toys. "Disappointing
Furniture is old and dirty. Cereal on carpet when we arrived. I killed several small roaches. Sheets did not fit king bed which was very aggregating at night. Bed spread looked like it had blood on it. It was very dirty. TV' s were almost impossible to operate due to the Cisco boxes."

We have stayed at Ocean One many times and will definitely return. Great location, plus security! Our unit was tidy but a little dusty. We opened the silverware drawer to find silverware that had been put away dirty (with food stilll cinging to it - gross)
Ran it all thru the dishwasher and went out and purchased plastic utensils. We do not prepare a lot of meals there, but it was definitely somewhat of a negative. Other than that, it is a wonderful location. See you next year."

"Accomodations at Unit 521
The location and view from the villa is beautiful. It was very clean. However, the kitchen and baths still have the original 1970's cabinetry and fixtures, the MBath tub has been reglazed and is an uneven mess. It was uncomfortable to bathe in it each day.
Also, the villa only provided one dish towel, one cloth, and no dish drainer, which was inconvenent for cooking in. For a $10. upgrade the kitchen could have been more user friendly. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

The kitchen was in need of a good cleaning and the cabinets in need of updates/paint. The washer and dryer were in the kitchen area with no doors and were extremely loud...especially the dryer. I wouldn't stay in this unit again."

"Love Ocean One but not Unit 521
I have stayed at Ocean One more times than I can count. Hilton Head is beautiful and Ocean One is the perfect location so you can't go wrong with Hilton Head as a destination and Ocean One as your accomodations. However, unit 521 is very dated. The kitchen and baths are outdated and the whole unit needs to be painted. It lacks charm/character and has a very odd layout. The views from the balcony on the top floor are breathtaking, though. We had a wonderful vacation and we always love Ocean One...just some feedback for the one of unit 521 to make it a better experience for guests."
