"Wonderful
We loved the condo! A very quick walk to the beach, and the pool and hot tub were wonderful! Everything was clean and ready for us. Check in was very simple. We only had one concern and that was with the AC units. They only ran an hour. Also, if there could be instructions for how to use the TV in the bedroom. The living room TV was great, but the bedroom was only getting one channel."

"A very disappointing place without any sea view as mentioned
We were very disappointed with this rental because we had booked a rental with a sea view which didn't exist from our flat which was on a low floor nearly on the street and not on the beachfront. Moreover, we had a view on all the other clients / owners on their lanai/ balcony. I will certainly not recommend that place which was also very noisy ( street, neighbors, halls, lawns)"

"Wonderful Stay in Maui at our Maui Sunset Condo
At the beginning of July, we stayed in Condo A-205 at Maui Sunset near the north end of Kihei. The representatives of the company were so nice and easy to book our stay with!

The property was gorgeous, with a partial ocean view, and manicured grounds every day, including meticulous cleaning of the barbecue grills each morning. The lush, tropical grounds have a pool, jacuzzi, shuffleboard, tennis courts, gym, and beach access. Condo A-205 has a beach theme and was remodeled right before our arrival, with an upgraded kitchen, granite countertops, new cabinets, backsplash, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, and washer/dryer. The living room has a comfortable murphy bed, a sofa, a kitchen table, and another table and chairs out on the lanai. The bedroom has a comfortable king-sized bed with a bathroom counter and sink in the room and a separate bathroom with a toilet and bathtub/shower. The second bathroom was near the living room with a toilet and shower. This property was pristine, well maintained, and has two air-conditioners, one in the bedroom and one in the living room as well as ceiling fans in each room. The closet had all the beach toys, including boogie boards, snorkel equipment (we brought our own), beach chairs, an umbrella, and towels.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo and at this property. Neighbors were all great and quiet and everyone we met at the pool or barbeque area had the aloha spirit. It was minutes to restaurants, grocery stores, Kamaole Beaches, shops, and shave ice. There is a concierge at the pool area to help with any activities if you need assistance. Parking was always easily accessible. A lovely experience staying here!"

Great Location. Beautiful overall property.

The unit definitely needs a facelist. The bathrooms and bedrooms are tired.

Pool/ Tennis/ Shuffleboard/ Paddle ball/ Putting make the property interesting.
Pool and Hottub are great.

Beach is great for walks and sunset.
Not the greatest for swimming. Better to travel to different beach but that is easy
Kihei is great little town.
Kihei is great spot for excursions (central on island)

Overall, great rental spot for family.
Places need some improvement inside."

"Decent Condo
For the price we paid it was decent. It was clean, but need some updating/renovations. Our room didn’t have a safe, as stated, so I didn’t like having to carry all our cash around with us. But that’s not a major issue. Good location, able to walk to some local spots if needed and the beach wasn’t bad. It was kinda rocky, but it gives you some stunning sunsets. It was very convienent they provided, beach towels, chairs, cooler and other beach item. The property had multiple grills that renters could use. The pool had a nice lounging area as well. If we came back to Maui, I would stay here again. "

"Great stay
Had a great anniversary week. Unit A205 had beach chairs, and an umbrella, which came in handy. The place was clean, and had cable and wifi. The only thing I wish it had upon arrival was hand soap to get us started. We stopped at our room first to use the restroom, and assess what we needed, and had nothing to wash our hands with. We realize that it isn't mandatory that they provide, but it would have been nice. Other than that, we enjoyed everything about our stay. "

"This condo unsatisfactory
This was our third time renting from you, our first two times were wonderful. This time made us look at other options in this very same property. We arrived to wet carpet with a blower going, kitchen was dirty and glasses in cabinets still had orange juice in them. Toilet had issues and no plunger when we called down to office I was told abruptly that I had to contact who I rented from! I explained I had rented directly from calling the Maui sunset! I felt they were abrupt and not very helpful! I was able to finally receive a plunger! We also had a lanai chair that the material was rotten which ripped completely in half when I sat down (and I weigh only 175) I would hesitate to recommend you to any of my friends due to this experience! Love the Maui sunset property and will return but will rent from another source! "

"Family Gathering in Hawaii
Overall everything was good. The only problem we had was that we were not aware that the unit would not be cleaned and towels replaced because we did not stay a full two weeks. Also the elevator was out of order several time on our end of the building and if you used the exit stairs you could not get back up that way as the door was locked which I believe is against the law as that is the location of the fire connects for the fire department in case of fire. Otherwise, everything was great even if it was a little expensive. Also, we were not aware until we had a problem that all the units are not managed by the same management company and you have to contact the management company for your unit as the front desk cannot help you at all except to give you the phone number. "
